This chapter is a story how to have changed the Place tile when he plays major-league baseball.
Then, he changed several things. first he changed batting form because, in major league baseball,
there are so many strong pitchers and strange pitching form pitchers in the league so, he couldn't
keep his batting form when he used in Japan. Also, another reason why he changed batting form
because Major league strike zone, in Major League Baseball, strike zone is different from other countries, Major League strike zone takes outside ball widely.
Next he changed playing styile, when he played baseball in Japan, he could hit homeruns easily but in Major, he can't hit like Japan so he used his run spead and his bat control then he could make a lot of baltimore hit such as used safty bant, he can reach to first case 3.6 seconds. This is the story about how and why he changed the play stile in Major League Baseball.

I think that he may change the play style like this. Because he was able to make a lot of records from Major League, and, as a result, he was able to obtain the success in Major League and a lot of fans at the same time as obtaining the record. Also, he can make good score constantly every year, but now his age is 35 years old so, his run speed is getting slower than before thus, I think he needs to change his play styile again. I think it is playable still long. There fore, if he wants to play more longer in Major League, he needs to be change play styile again.

Jane Eyre By,Charlotte Bronte page. 100-126

When spring came, Jane found a beuiful view of surounding around her school. However, there were a contradiction at that time. Many students fell illness and died due to typhus, starvation and cold. Few people in Lowood allowed to play outside without supervision including Jane. During that time, Jane's friend, Helen had been sick for long times, but Jane didn't recognized about that. One day, when Jane visited Temple's room, she relized that Helen will soon die. Jane thought she must embraced her before her death, so Helen died in Jane's arms when everybody was sleeping. Eight years passed. Jane had been working at Lowood for two years as a teacher befor she left Lowood. She was in there for six years as a student and worked for two years. She wanted to find her liberty in other place as a governess. A few days later, she received a letter from Mrs. Fairfax of Thornfield, Millcote. Mrs. Fairfax needed a governess for a little girl. Jane decided to work there and she left. Befor she left, she met Bessie and asked about her family's news. However, there were no success in her family.

RESPOND:
Even though she had a terrible experience that is a death of her friend, Helen, she overcomed.
That's a strong emotion for me. If I were in her situation, I wouldn't do that and even take care of myself. Anyway, I was so touched. Also, when she bacame a teacher in Lowood, I was really surprised. In my case, I can't do that like her, because of bad circumstances. The school is so old and there is a bad memory of her friend. Last, I hope that she will live well at Thornfield, Millcote as a governess.

Girls in Pants_The Third Summer of Sisterhood_Ann Brashares (p.42-p.73)

When Bee went to soccer camp, the first thing she wanted to find Diana. They were so happy because they found each other. Diana didn't change anything, but Bee felt that Diana had something secret.

While Carmen was sitting in the kitchen of her apartment, she thought about her mom, stop drinking wine...Her mom arrived home. Carmen was surprised at what her mom said. She was pregnant and this baby is David's child. The baby will be birth around the end of September. She threw away her selfishness, she thought it is a happy news for her mom after she leave home. Tibby sent a consolatory letter to Carmen and hope Carmen would feel better.

The air in the dining hall of the Prynne Valley Soccer Academic made Bee feel alert. She found Brown- who she felt in love in the first summer soccer camp. She was disconcerted when she was talking with him.

The only adult person hadn't been happy about Carmen's upcoming sister is Lena's grandmother. Carmen felt so grateful about that. When Lena arrived home from work, they were talking about Lena's job and Valia.

After Bee met Brown, her feeling was chaotic. She didn't know what she was thinking about. When she saw a bird, she found her self as the bird. She wanted to be freedom, and has nothing to thinking.

Lena was in her art class. Today, she had to drew a naked model... She had never drew any naked model, so she was shy and her face turned red. Then, her thinking was chaotic again. In her mind, Kostos and Paul were running around. She didn't know what she was thinking about. Both of them had brought along to her a lot of special feelings. She tried to control herself because she had to back to work. Finally. Annik helped her and made her feel better.

Carmen and Tibby carried on to take care Valia. Valia ticked her off with everything. Carmen abandoned Valia with her imagined. She imagined about everything such as her mom, September, her room...everything could change after she leave. Suddenly, Tibby had a phone call, this is her mom's cell phone. Katherine was hurt, she had fell out the window. Tibby was crying and she had to go back home with Nicky.



In this part, there are a lot of thing what happened around the girls life. Something was so difficult to solve and their feeling were chaotic alots. The girl's thinking and feeling is really complicated. The boy's thinking and feeling is kind of easy and they always made everything simplify.

Narnia-A prince fights for his crown

As prance Caspian met the residents of Narnia,the resdents to support him to be the king of Narnia. The animal hate the human took their places. They decided to fight back. Caspian became the king of Narnia.Hiweber, his army were so weak. King Caspian need to ran away because his uncle was serached for him. King Caspian took his army back in a cave through out the magic wood. After that,king Caspian met his tutor(strang story...how could he escape?) When they reach the cave the human found them and have a battle.So Caspian decided send a squirrel and a dwarf to found help... However,the dwarf found the four chikdren. The dwarf seen hopeless because he thought the children were useless. Two of the children have a match with the dwarf. So the matches made the dwarf believed they will save the Narnia. They took the boat(took from the soldiers) left the island and joined the battle of Narnia.



This is a cool story,the story talked about the native residents and the invaders. This situation just fit in our world,even who don't want to hear. Throghout the history,most battles in the world because of misunderstanding of love. Human fight for selfishness ...When will the world stop fighting? Who know?The world is going to over....I hope one day I can see the heaven during the world...The world with no tear and sad.

Eons ago, perhaps all religious practices fell into the category that we now call" Indigenous Religions." This is a catch-all term encompassing all remaining cultures, generally tribal, in which local religious practices and beliefs are still alive, usually in close relationship to the land upon which the people live. Religion and everyday life are often so interwined that the people may have no word for"religion" as a thing apart that occurs only sometimes in temples.
Nonetheless, there is clear evidence that women have in the past played important spiritual roles in many of these societies and to the extent that their traditional lifeways have survives, they still do. Indigenous cultures provide some of the world's strongest examples of women as religious leaders, but also, in some cases, evidence of oppression of females in the name of religion.
Considerable controversy is now raging about the relative position of women in Hinduism. Hindu nationalist factions are trying to portray Hindu women as having always enjoyed great respect, but feminists are attempting to call attention to the existence of not only oppression but also violence against them.

My opinion.
Women's role now in religion has been changed a lot. They and men have almost balanced in religion. But many years ago, women were not very respected by people. In Hinduism, as the negative began, there is a startling sex imbalance in the Indian population because of the preference for male babies. Women had to bare the responsibility for male babies. There are stories of "dowry death" in which women are killed by their in-laws for not meeting all their dowry demands. But now for Indian women, they are discovering bold inner resources that have long lain dormant beneath the mantle of submissiveness dictated by Brahmanic and cultural mores.
In contrast ot the general Western view of a world of inanimate, insensitive things, with which humans can do as they like, tribal peoples tend to see the world as consisting of relatives. And the spiritual culture of indigenous people is passed down from generation to generation.

In chapter five to eight is talk about that Pod had been seen by a boy, so they are worried

about it. They decided to tell Arrietty about this. In fact, Arrietty didn't sleep, she can heared

some thing that her parents talk about. Arrietty came to the kitchen and asked her parents tell h

her everything. Homily asked Arrietty that why her uncle need to emigrate. Arrietty didn't

know anything about why her uncle need to move. Homily told to Arrietty that her uncle need to

move because he had been seen. They also told Arrietty that her father had been seen. Arrietty

was so shack about it and started to worry it. Homily wanted to calm her down, so she started

to tell her a story about Harpsichord family. They used to live in a mantelpiece, but they alredy

move since the house they live had become empty. Homily aslo told to Arrietty that her aunt is

belong to Harpsichord family. They know Arrietty always wanted to go to the upstairs. So they

told her that her uncle's daugther Eggletina had gone to the upstair, she may already be eat by a

cat. But Arrirtty still wanted to go to the upstairs. One day, Homily asked Arrietty if she want to

borrow something with her father or not. Arrietty was happy about it. So she went to borrow

things with her parents. Arrietty always asked Pod to borrow something that she want. But she

never know being a borrower is a very dangerous and tough job. Now she understand that her

father's job is very dangerous.


My opinion:

I think Arrietty just like normal kids. She always being so childish. She always asked her

parents to do everything for her . She never think her parents need to take big risk to get these

things. Just like some people may think that parents can do anything for them. They donn't

want to study hard , and they do something bad to their parents. I used to read a news from

the newspaper. That is talk about 25 years boy asked his parents to give him some money, but

his parents didn't have any money to give to him. So he became very angry, he hitted his

parents. I think this is very awful. We need to thank our parents. Because they pay all of their

life to take care of us.

The christmas blessing by Donna Vanliere p.71-130

Andrew came to Hope's room, during the time he talked to Hope, Dr. Goetz came. He asked him went with him to Charlie's room. Nathan talked joking around with Charlie. After that, Dr. Goetz complimented Nathan, he has a natural ability with children and patients. Every body can teach medicine, however the natural ability can't teach him. Sometime he took care something a personally. Patients and children have trust him. Then Dr. Goetz asked him does he want to become pediatrics or even pediatric cardiology? but he said no. And he told him that he will change to another rotation with Dr. Hazelman. After Dr. Goetz left, he sat on his table and he thought about his situation. However, he thought that he was not wrong, he has to prove to Peter and himself that he had a right decision when he changed to another rotations.
Now he changed to Dr. Hazelman's rotation. Nathan met Dr. Rory Lee, he perform operation. After he was done, he talked to Nathan that doctor has met something bad things when a patient died. Dr. Rory gave him advice that he should take a break in his mind. He is very smart, but he is worry too much about his answer. He is one of the best doctor as he knew. His problem is he didn't trust himself. As a result, he couldn't stand when he get a trouble, also when patient died. Even though, the best doctor can't help patient a live. Dr. Rory gave him advice that he should take a break and think about he should become a doctor or not, but actually Dr. Rory still hope him become a good doctor. At Nathan's house, he thought that he should stay to finish medical school or he should get off and move to another major.
He bought a birthday cake for his grandmother. His family has father, grandmother and sister. His grandmother thought that they will ask his father find another woman. He is thinking that should he tell his family that he will get off of medical school. But he thought that it's not ok. His father is a worker in garage for a long time. He didn't find any woman since his mother died. After the party, Nathan talked to his father that he was not sure that what he would do. His father said that everyone will know what he has to do as not so far in the future. His grandmother heard that so she said he is a good to be a doctor, so he couldn't get off of medical school. But he thought that his family was so upset about him because he will finish medical school soon. His father told him that he has to finish his rotation on Dec/23, after that he could do what ever he want.
One day, Nathan asked William to run with him in a park. Before he run, he remember his father said that God didn't take her mother, God just love his mother. He still didn't understand. He just thinks that he doesn't have enough strong to be come a doctor. After that he wake up, then he prepare to run. At that time he met Meghan, and she knew that he is a doctor in the hospital. They talked together. He asked her that was she a person who organized the scholarship run at the hospital. Then he asked her that was she a heart patient. But she said that she was not a patient, she was a friend of Dr. Goetz. He thought that it was funny. He thinks when Meghan run, she didn't think about her disease. She just actives for her health.


My opinion:
Meghan was very funny, Nathan was getting trouble. After he talked with Meghan, he changed his mind. Meghan was a main reason to make him changed. His family always encouraged him to be a doctor. And he thought that he doesn't have natural ability with his patient. He is not a deceive person. He made a decision but after that he thought that it was wrong. His father is a good person, he always lives whole time for his children. However, his father always silent, so he didn't share about his thinking with his father. His father always tried to explain to him why his mother died. He thought that God love his mother and God wanted to take her away from her pain as soon as possible. I think the end of this book, Nathan will become a good doctor because he has a lot of good friend. His family always stay beside him to help him be stronger.

The 7 HABITS of Highly Effective TEENS ( Pg 104-161)

Third habit is 'Put first things first.' He required that the time quadrants such as exam tomorrow, friend gets injured, late for work, project due today and car breaks down. these things are procrastinator. next things are Yes-Man such as unimportant phone calls, interruptions, other people's small problems and peer pressure. these things are realted to urgent. Also, he said 'A personal challenge' is very important habit because if you have goal, you will do very hard for goal. And he compared between RBA DEPOSITS and RBA WITHDRAWALS. RBA DEPOSITS are keep probises, do small acts of kindness, be loyal listen say you're sorry and set clear expectations. RBA WITHDRAWALS are break promises, keep toyourself, gossip and break confidences, don't listen, be arrogant and set false expectations. He said that keeping probises and do small acts of kindess are very important. Also, he said 'set clear expectations' is think of a situation where you and the other party have different expectations. Put together a plan for how to get on the same page.



My opinion: I think third habit is very difficult to translate into action. Also, when i read this part, I learn a lot of noun clauses. Actually, i think keep promises are very basic thing in our lives. Therefore, we have to follow this habit for our lives and futures. Before i read this book, i often don't do homework. Because I'm little bit lazy person. However, i changed my behavior after i read this book. I really thanks to this book and Mike because he gives blog homework, so i read this book. After i finish this book, I will try to read another book.

PLUM LOVIN' p49~89

Stephanie and Disel met Annie. Annie was a little shorter than Stephanie, a little older, a little plumper. She had short, curly brown hair and lively brown eyes and a nice mouth. Disel introduced Stephanie to Annie. Annie wanted to get a new boy friend through Stephanie. Stephanie is going to use meeting chance at Valentine's Day. Disel and Stephanie are finding files about Annie's a new boy friend.
Next day, Stephanie and Disel went Charlene's house. She is Stephanie's old customer. Also, she does't want to get a boy friend in her life, so as soon as she saw Stephanie and Disel in front of the front door, she said,"I don't have time to talk to you". Disel asked "Are you sure you don't want a man in your life?" "Jeez"Charlene said."Why did you reject them?" "They rejected me" Charlene said, "When I said I don't have the time or energy for a man right now and I have two kids upstairs and figuring out how they can bypass the parental controls on the television." However, Stephanie said,"Let's get the man taken care of first" Disel said, "Be honest. What are you really looking for in a man?" Charlene took a moment . " A good man," she said "Someone who fits with me. Someone comfortable"


My opinion

Actually, I could't understant Stephanie and Annie relationship. Annie is Stephanie's customer, but Desel and Annie look like friends. In fact, I can't understant perpectly. I just understood 75% this story, so sometimes I confused about characters. For example, the author write in a colloquial style so I sometimes can't understand. However, this author says feelingly. I hope that I want to write like the author when I wrote essays. Probably, it seems vocabulary problems, so when I write the essay, I wrote the essay as far as I know vocabulary so I need to study about new vocabulary.

"Black Beauty" by Anna Sewell, pg 121~205

"Black Beauty" by Anna Sewell, in the part of the book from page 121 to 205, the book tells me that the horses sold to a new master and what they would do every. The master was very kind, but the mistress was not, she like horses to be fashion, so that made Ginger very angry, and her bad temper was back. Than a new groom came here to treat them, he is good, but he had a problem that when he drink too much, he will be very cruel and careless. So when he rode Black Beauty to meet his old friend, he drunk too much, and that cause him careless about the nail which was loose in the horse shoe. And than when they came back in the night, the broken shoe hurt the horse's hoof, it cause the horse fell down, and the groom was died in this accident. Not too long, Two men came here and found the horse and dead person, and carried them back, and found the cause of this accident. Because of the bad accident, Black Beauty's leg has a terrible scars there, and the master didn't like this, so he decided to sell the horse to a man who keep many horse and rent them to people. A few days later, a gentle man ask the man to sell Black Beauty to a old man who wanted to ride a horse for improving his health. The old man hired two groom for the horse, but they both were not good and made many troubles for the old man. So the old man sold the horse to a fair. In the fair, Black Beauty was sold by a good man, and he and his family were very love the horse. The horse also help the man for working and working. One day, during the rest time, Black Beauty met Ginger with a weak body, and Ginger told him about her sad life after he was sold. She wanted to died to over her terrible life, then not too long when a man led Ginger go away, Black Beauty saw a dead horse was carried by a cart, that was Ginger. When it was Christmas, the man and the horse were work hard, but the man was very ill after a cold night for waiting two men. And after he healed, the doctor adviced him didn't to work with a cart again, so he and his family accepted his friend idea and prepared to move to another country for working. They had to sold Black Beauty again.

When I read this part of book, I was very sad about each horse of their life, especially, Ginger's terrible life. When she was born, she was treated by a curel treatment. When she died, she also died in a rough treatment. I'm sad with her bad life, and also angry with humans cural behaviors for animals.And I also think fashion for animal was very less practice, and that always hurt animals. Why don't humans think about the fashion put on their bodies? If they try it, they will realize that how hard and cural it is for animals. I think we have to give a good a treatment for animals, also they can't complain and tell you what you did that is curel for them, but they have brains, and they could think about how curel it was what humans do for them. They have the feelings, and they also need to care. They are not mechine or dead thing. They are alive, the same to humans. So please take care of animals, don't make them sad again.

In these seasons, he led the Chicago bulls to win NBA finals six times, got season MVP five times, and got NBA finalls MVP six times. This success was so great that other players never recoard. About his playing position, he usually plays in Shooting guard. In this position basketball players can get more points than the other position like Kobe. His playing position can be changed in Point guard or Small forward. This means that he can play in three positions of five positions. people call it "All-around". His physical ptentials make it possible. in addition, his dunk style is unbelievable. Because of it, audiences give him a nickname, "Air".

Response

This chapter told me that Micheal Jordan is really great basketball player in 1900s like what I have already known. I think that because audiences in America knows what he has acheived well, they call him the Legend of NBA and Air, and I suppose If Kobe or LeBron records their succesive score, they never exceed his spectacular impression. His nickname, Air, expresses it. I wonder who named him Air. That is really good name. His dunk was not like human but animal. I had never seen that incredible dunk like printed on his shoes, Air Jordan. After all, I am going to explain why I continue to write about Micheal Jordan. I can bollow this book by this week, and this chapter attracts the interest of me. Therefore, I read it and write about this chapter again. Anyway, I have been reading next book, 24. I am sure that I write bout 24 next time.

This topic is about many players and people who understood baseball skills amazed in his baseball technics while they saw his baseball practice at the first day of spring training. His on of the strong part is the battting(bat control). He can hit ball any where collectly which course ball comes. This mean is if ball comes out course, he can hit it to left field, and if ball comes in course, he can hit to the right field. This is the one of the special skills. The other skill is ball control and strong sholuder. He can throws ball really hard and collectly. This because he was a pitcher in the high school baseball team before. Thus, he can make lot of good play on the field. Therefore, many people amazed about his baseball skills at first day of the spring training.

I also think he has a really good baseball skills too. When, I saw Ichiro first time I was really amazed about his baseball skills. Thats because he made many hits on the game and he took some out by his shoulder, so I can understand why people in America amazed about his baseball skills. Also, he can still throw over 95 milles fast ball and good braking balls, so he can show more surprise to both team mate and fans I think. I have heard saying that he wants to do the pitcher before, so I hope he can shows this skills for the fans while nearing.

Girls in Pants _The Third Summer of the Sisterhood_ Ann Brashares (p.23 - p.41)

On the Senior Party, Brian had already dressed up hisself and prepared some gifts for Tiby and her family like a dating manual. Maybe he had read a book that talk about how to prepare a dating. So funny that his dater was wearing jeans while he was wearing a suit jacket and tie. He felicitated her looking because Brian is a worthy guy with Tiby and he knows about the Jeans. They had been growing up together, but in this time Brian was looking at her in a difference way and he wanted Tiby look at him in a difference way too. When they came to the auditorium, Bee and Carmen had already arrived, but Lena and Effie hadn't arrived. Bee had dressed up look like Marilyn Monroe, Carmen had dressed up to which the boys were already "flocking", and Tiby still felt comfortable with the Jeans. Bee, Carmen and Tiby went to badroom to reproach Tiby that why she didn't know Brian like her and she hadn't return that feeling in this date. When Lena arrived, she wore something so usual and this is make Bee and Carmen were so mad. They dressed up again for Tiby and Lena. When they came back to auditorium, Brian invited Tiby to dance with him. This is the first time Tiby identified that Brian was taller than her and she felt something difference than before. Then they went to park- it was another of their place. They sat in the picnic table in there. So romantic that he kissed her. It was the real kiss. He said: "I love u" . It was so beautiful to her and everything about friendship between Tiby and Brian in her mind was gone.

The next day, Carmen woke up so early because she wanted to say good-bye to Bee before she went to her camp in Pennsylvania. She came to her mom's room, but exactly it was her mom and David's room. He is her step-father after her parents had divorced. Of course, she didn't like him and felt uncomfortable about the divorce. Actually, everything in her house had already changed so difference after David stayed here.

When Tiby woke up, she felt everything had happened last night was like a dream. She began to thinking about him. She had some questions in her mind as his habit. She identified that she loved Brian and she tried to tell her mom about that, but it wasn't work. Because today she had to watch over Katherine for Loretta, but she didn't want to do it. She hate this job- a babysister.

So sweet that Tiby identified her love with Brian. I think her love with Brian had happened before that time, but she didn't know what was that. She just think it was a normal friendship. Sometime you don't know what the feeling is name, so when you find out it you will feel really excited and happy. At that time, your feeling is working.

She got the school which called Lowood. The next day, when Jane woke up, the weather was so cold as all of students shivered. After the time what the bible reading was over, they had breakfast time. In the classs, Jane saw a certain thing that was so unbelievable that she didn't understand teacher's behavior. The teacher said to a studnet why you didn't wash your face and hair. Actually, she couldn't wash her face because of the frozen water. Also, there were some problems, food for students was so terrible to eat. Bread was really dry and soup was burned. Evrything wasn't obviously good for students. It wasn't still good food and clothes even though the weather was really severe cold. Few days later, she met a teacher, Temple. She was so nice teacher, and Temple gave much information to live at there. Also, she met her first friend, Helen after Jane was punished by bad teacher. Consequently, Jane was taken comfort from Helen.


Finally, Jane meets her first friend at new school. Also, she meets her teacher, Temple, she is really kind, gentle and responsible. Especially, the teacher gives lots of advices to Jane, so Jane
can control her emtion and get a good grade. Although the circumstance is really terrible, Jane
endures that. She might be a good person. In these days, I feel that I need to control my emtion and endure as same as Jane. As time goes by, I feel tired of learning English because I think my English skill doesn't improve more. That's why I need to wait for the future.

Throughout human history, women have had deep spiritual experiences, have been healers, have had access to enlightened wisdom, and have been willing to devote themselves to the service of others. Each of these women's experiences has been unique. But the spirituality of both women and men has always been expressed within and molded by social systems and religious traditions. In general, these systems and traditions have been favored men as spiritual leaders and relegated women to minor roles. Neverthese, because women as well as men have spiritual experiences, sometimes very powerful ones, there have always been some women who have broken out of the mold.

Religion for women's experiences are individual, conveniently categorized. And for women, their patriarchy in institutionalized religions, is seemed to founded by men. Some of them access the situation and some of them struggle to make people know what they are thinking and what they gonna do. But there are many limits on women's religious participation. They are not allow to do what they really want to do. Everything they do should follow the religious status made by men. In many cultural, women always clean the holy places, attend the daily masses or be the secretaries and office managers. They seldom have power in their religion. The Prince Caspian and his tutor came up the castle tower at night. The tutor told him the old Narnia. Prince Caspian like the stories so much even he just can heard in the few night. The tutor show the prince he was a half dwarf half man and taught him everything he needed when he grew up. One day,prince's uncle had a son. Prince Caspian's tutor helped Caspian to escaped and tell him the true-his father was killed by his uncle. Before Caspian gone,the tutor gave him Queen Susan's horn. When he was in danger,he can used the horn to save his life-Call back the four childred(Peter,Susan,Edmen and Lucy) came back the Narnia. The prince escaped to the black wood mountain. In there he met the old Narnia residents, two pure dwarf and one badger.
They brought the prince to saw other resident.


In the chapter 4 told about the prince's life . How can he grew up ,his backgroup and something else. The author discripe the prince Caspian was a gentle person. The prince Caspian did't like war,wanting to live with other race(non human) and kind to everyone. In the chapter 5 was told about how he escaped and met the resident of Narnia. I think the story is not bad . At least I can understand without dictionary. I hope I can read more next time . Now that I am thinking I just get about 90 words...more ....more .....more ....words...almost....ya..done.

The 7 HABITS of Highly Effective TEENS ( Pg 72-104)

Second habit is ' Begin with the end in mind.' It means that you draw up a blueprint before you build a house. Also, he said 5 important things such as college, friends, sex, work, drugs. these thing called by crossroads of life. He said why did i say these things because these things can decide our lives. Also, he adviced to us such as Religion, Education, Succeeding, Productive, Exercise, Caring, Truthful. These things are 'strong shared this one.' He said two examples of teen mission statements, each very different in style and length: Care, Love, Fight, Rock. Care has world,life,people and myself. Love has myself, family, world, knowledge, and learning. Fight has my beliefs, passions, accomplish, to do good, to be true to myself and against apathy. Rock has the boat, don't let the boat rock me and be a rock.



Opinion : I think second habit is much important than first habit because second habit is kind of plan for my life. Therefore, when i read second habit part, i wrote some memo on my paper. I think these things are very important. I will have to remerber for my life. Also, i will teach these things to my children after i get marry with someone.

As the usual night, Homily asked Arrietty to help her cut the onion.Pod went out to borrow

something. Then, Pod came home with queer face. Homily knew that something was happened.

Homily didn't want Arrietty to know that, so she asked Arrietty to bed. But Arrietty wanted to

know what they want to talk about. However, Homily insisted her need to go to bed. After

Arrietty went to bed , Homily asked Pod to tell her what was happened. Pod said that he was

been found. When he went to borrow things, a boy was saw him. The boy found that he wanted

to take the cup. Then the boy took the cup and looked at Pod. The boy told Pod that he can take

the cup. But Pod was worried about that. It is because they may need to move. Homily was

worried about Arrietty that she can't get use a new life.

I think Pod is a good father. It is because he always care about his family. And Homily is a good

wife. She always worry about his hasband.Sometimes, I think they are poor. They can't be found

by human,so they need to live very carefully. If I become a borrower , I may tired of this life.

When Meghan 's family moved to another place. She was very upset, she always cried in the midnight. She missed her friend, her old house but she did not want to let her parents know. She knew that her family moved to another house was good for her parents and 2 of her brother and herself. At new place, she only came to school and went home. She didn't have any friend, so she only has run to school and gone back home for 3years. She always ran when she came to school or went back home. Her mother was so worry, but her doctor said that her heart was very strong. She was a good athlete. Meghan found out that Stanford University gave her a full scholarship.
When Dr. Goetz and others doctor and few med students has been doing in the heart transplant, Andrew's watch was stop running, and he looked at his watch. So Dr. Goetz asked him that "Is medicine a calling or responsibility for you?" However, Andrew didn't understand what Dr. Goezt meant. His friend told him that " sometimes you act like you're becoming a physician because you owe it to the world." Andrew thought that he cared too much about his patient, so he disagree with the eyes contact of any one else.
Charlie was a best friend of Meghan. Meghan visited Charlie at hospital. Charlie asked Meghan when would she has a running race. He would to come to see her. His parents worried about his health, they didn't want to let him to see Meghan.
Meghan and Charlie were very optimistic. Although they got sick, they still felt optimistic. They tried to do whatever they want. Meghan was a running athlete, although her heart was not strong. However Andrew was a good med student, he always felt pessimistic in his life. He always thought that he had to pay back. He tried to become a good doctor but sometime he couldn't understand what the life meant to him. Now I thought that this book is easy to understand than before. I learned some good thing in Meghan and Charlie. They lived with a serious disease, but they never give up their life.

PLUM LOVIN' CHAPTER 3 p34~48

Stephanie and Lula met Burlew. He was over six feet tall, weighed 230 pounds, and had hands like hamhocks. He was a butcher. The butcher shop was empty of customers when we entered. Burlew is Stephanie's customor and he is a shy butcher. Also, he loves Jet. Jet is working at across coffee shop. Burlew go to the coffee shop every mornig in order to see her, but he have never told with her because he is a shy, so the Stephanie wanted to help him. Stephanie entered to meet her. the Stephanie ordered a coffee. "It;s for my cousin across the street," she intentionally told her, but she didn't know about Burlew because when he went to the store, he just stared Jet. Stephanie said, "He's shy. And he stares in here because... he'd like more coffee, but he can't leave the shop". Stephanie made her to meet the Burlew. After the Stephanie finished talking with her, she told him. "Jet will come to your store to bring a cup," "So, please prepare to meet her." But Burlew did't have confidence to meet her, so the Stephanie advised him. "Don't stare so much, talk to her, and change your apron".



My opinion

Burlew is very shy to Jet, so Stephanie would help him. Probably, she will go to the Burlew's store because she would want to check their result. This chapter was interesting about Burlew' personality and Stephanie' wit. If I am Stephanie, I can't tell like that. She intentionally told her that he is my cousin. Also, she tried to make a chance to meet Burlew and Jet. Next chapter might be funny because I wondered about Burlew and Jet relationship.

"Black Beauty" by Anna Sewell pg 81~120

The book "black beauty", by Anna Sewell, from page 81 to 120, talks about some bad events happen in the horse's life. First, James that Black Beauty's groom and it love him so much would go to another place for a better work by the invitation of the master's brother-in-low. So before he leave, he did some practice with Black Beauty and Ginger and his skill was improving better and better. Second, some days later, the master and mistress went out for visiting some friends who lived about 45 miles away with James, Black Beauty and Ginger. Also that was a long way to go, but James's skill was very good, so Black Beauty and Ginger didn't feel too tired. When the sun go down, they reached the town and spend the night in the large inn which in centre of the marketplace, and Black Beauty and Ginger were led to the stables. In the night, a fire was burning in the stables. A man ran into the stables and tried to led all of the horses in the stables to go out, but all of the horses didn't go with him, so he gave up and ran away. A moment later, James came into the stables and used him gentle voice to led Black Beauty to go out of the stable, then he went back to help Ginger to go out. After that, a old groom said to James that it is very difficult to lead horse to get out of a stable when there is a fire or a flood unless someone who they can trust. Third, when James leave, he teach a boy that named Joe Green who would take James's place all of things he have to do in the stables as much as he could. Several days later, John woke Black Beauty up in the night, and told it that mistress was very ill, he had to bring the doctor here, and he needed Black Beauty ran as fast as it could. That was very fast, Black Beauty ran to the doctor's house and brought him here just use a shor time, because of that, the mistress's life was saved. But when it came back to the stable, Joes Green didn't know how to do with this state, so he did a wrong way for Black Beauty, and because of that treatment, Black Beauty was ill. It didn't get better until John came to look after Black Beauty. And he did the right way for it, and made it feel better. He was so angry about Joe Green's work, but he did complain too much, because he knew Joe Green just didn't know how to do well. Finally, after Black Beauty got better, the mistress's illness was getting worse and worse, and doctor advised the master to move to another quiet place for the mistress. Because of that, the master can't move the whole things to another place, so he send Merrylegs to a priest and sold Ginger and Black Beauty to a good friend of him. When the master and mistress leave, all of them knew that they would never see the master and mistress again.

In this party of the book, I realize that people who want to drive a horse also need to get the horse's trustment, or they can't drive it. If a horse trust a man, it will be realize the man's feelings, and it will be know what happen depends on the feelings and help the man by it best.

Even though she already knew a fact that she is going to send an orphan school, she didn't
hear about that from anyone. However, a few days later, John told the fact to her because
he and his family don't like Jane is living in their house now. After she heard that, she was excited at it and also Mrs, Reed 's family did. Before she went to the school, someone visited
their house and asked some questions to take her to the school. When she left her house, Bessie
woke up only and made breakfast, bread and milk, for Jane. She greeted to Bessie and then she
got on a cart.


Finally, she goes to the school and live by herself without people in Mrs. Reed's house.
If I were in her case, I would escape from the house to live freely. Anyway, now, It is really
good for her and she can learn about study what she wants to. And I touched in Bessie's
atittude which was caring Jane although she could be uncomfortable to Mrs. Reed.
I hope Jane does well in new school and makes nice friend in the future.

Ichiro on Ichiro p10~20

This chapter story is about Ichiro's first season in Major League Baseball on Spring traning. First, most he feels difrences in MLB was, play style. Thus, he had to changed almost every things while when he was playing in japan, so he tried to change his batting form. This is the biggest part to changed for him. After he changed his batting form, he could make good batting score easly. However, he had to think about another things, it was power, most MLB player have big body and they are really powerful, so he was amazed when he saw them at first time. Then, he tried to made more good body. Therefore, this is the story about 2nd chapter in Ichiro on Ichiro.

I think this story is really interesting. Thats because I could know how Ichiro overcome to play baseball in MLB like he plays in Japan. So I can under stood how Ichiro work out for these things and how he made success in first year spring training. Also, I could learn how do I play with American baseball. In the third chapter-The Dwarf,I feel the story start to become better because they are ready to went out of the island. I think the author is a funny guy because of he insert many word have no effect on the overall situation. And that in the chapter 4-the Dwarf tells of prince Caspian,I like his writing technique.The chapter 4 start to talk about the prince Caspian background. The graduated day is a great day to students, so every student always wants to take some memory picture in this day to keep their memory with their friends and their school. Of course, our four girls had some pictures together and a whole picture with their family. After that when the girls were sitting together to make an itinerary for their magic jeans, Tibby was in thinking. She had seen everything was changed into their friends because she likes to see everything in the backward rather than forward. Skip her thinking; she came back with their itinerary for the jeans. Carmen was holding the jeans, Lena is lighting the candles, Bee is fussing with the dimmer switches near the door. They were worried to say good bye to Bee but Carmen decided to save that for the beach at the end of the summer. It is a great deal. They promised each other that it would be their weekend and it just have the four of them and nobody else. That time is so important with them because they all had had different amount to lose: Bee would be in her lonely house and had nothing; Carmen would say good bye her mom; Tibby feared leaving the familiarity of her chaos and Lena flipped and flopped…The thing they feared equally and powerfully was saying good bye to one other. After they made the jeans’s itinerary and reviewed the rules, they said it together:

Since then, Lena had thought about this woman many times and this woman reminded Lena of herself. She want to leave home, she had a good university ,but she didn't have enough courage to leave the place where Kostos could find her. She love him so much. While Lena was thinking about Kostos, the phone rang. It is Carmen. Carmen called to reminded Lena about the senior party. Actually, Lena didn't want to go there. She didn't know which dress she can choose because everything is had worn with Kostos and filled with memories. In her mind, everything always about Kostos. Kostos is everything with Lena.

After i read it, i had something to remember. It is about my friend and my first love. Before I went here, I had had to say good-bye to my best friends. I love them and we were belong together a long times. Actually, when you have your friends around you, you can't feel lonely and know what about amity's value; but when you are alone, you will know what about that. Lena's feeling about Kostos that reminded me about my first love. Actually that relation is kind of childish but we have had a good times together. In that time in my mind, everything always was about him and I didn't want to lose him. After we broke up, I still miss him when i feel sad and see our memories's places again. While I have a new boyfriend , sometime i still miss him. I know it isn't fair with my boyfriend; but when my boyfriend treated me bad, i miss my first love because he has never made me be sad...we just broke up because of my mother....

Some people have stupid quotes. it means paradigm. paradigms are like glasses. if you want to delete paradigm in your brain, you need to be more serious and affirmative. First habit is ' BE PROACTIVE'. It has two languages. 'I'll try' , 'That's just the way i am' , 'There's nothing i can do' , 'I have to' , 'I can't ' , 'You ruined my day' these are 'Reactive language' and another part is 'Proactive language' such as I'll do it, 'I can do better than that' , 'let's look at all our options' , 'I choos to' , 'There's gotta be a way', 'I'm not going to let your bad mood rub off one me.' Author said 'Proactive language' is better than 'Reactive language' . If you want to be proactive person , you must use proactive language. I think 'Proactive' person is ' take responsibility for their choices' , ' think before they do that', always find a way to make it happen' and ' focus on things they can do something. Therefore, they will be success person. Also, author said being proactive really means two things such as 'can-do people' and 'No-can-do people.' I think that if i think can-do person, and i'm creative and persistent, it is amazing what i can accomplish. Now, i need it because i will go academic and need hard study. I think that i'm reactive person and no can do person now. I really want to change my mind and behavior. I will try to change my mind and behavior for my life. Actually i didn't read many pages last weekend, so this weekend i really tried to read many pages i was so hard. I realized that read book every day. I will have to do that.

PLUM LOVIN' CHAPTER 2

This chapter is about Stephanie Plum's job. Stephanie and Lula went to DMV because Charlene Klinger was working there. Sthphanie and Lula wanted to know about where is Annie so they went to DMV, but Charlen just said " I don't know about her" Stephanie wanted to help her because Annie is her customer.
Stephanie and Lula went to Municipal Animal Hospital to meet Gray Martin. Annie and Gray Martin were loving each other in the past. But they broke up each other now because she said to Martin. "You are a pest" "A pest!". Annie shouted. Actually, why did she say to Martin like this Martin does not know what happened. Two weeks ago, she just said it was over. He said to Stephanie. I don't know what went wrong. Stephanie was disappointed about Martin's behavior. Stephanie thought that why did Annie say to Martin "You are a pest". Stephanie guessed that Martin would meet another girl while he is meeting Annie. After Stephanie met Martin, she went to meet another customer.


My opinion

This chapter was easy to understand for me. The chapter "2' story was about Stephanie's job and her surrounding characters. She always try to meet her customer and make chance to meet man and woman. I like her job because I want to become like her. She has a magical power of charming people, so I want to learn her skill. And I am getting funny this book.

The christmas blessing by Donna Vanliere p.28-47

Meghan received a phone call from Denise from the pediatric unit early in the morning and she was told that a heart was available for Hope Reed. Hope was a five-year old who had been waiting for a heart transplant, because her heart was enlarging.

After the phone call, Meghan went out to a nearby park to run; in fact, she was looking for the runner with the neon ball cap. As soon as she found the runner, Meghan speeded up behind the runner in the neon cap and kept up with her one lap after another around the lake.

Once, Meghan explained to her father that she waits around for the runner everyday because the runner is the best runner Meghan has ever seen, and she wants to run after somebody better than her.

After the runner finished running, Meghan stopped, breathing hard, and said to herself, “One of these days I’ll catch up to you. And then I’m going to pass you!” Also, she prayed for Hope Reed.

After watching Meghan and the runner running, Nathan starts running. Then he arrives at the hospital early to ask Peter permission to change to another team. Nathan told Peter that if he stayed with Dr. Goetz he would surely drop out of medical school. Peter told Nathan that he would see what he could do. Thus, Nathan seems relieved.

After working out, Meghan went back to her house to have breakfast with her sister and brother. After breakfast Meghan helped dress Olivia, her sister, for school; in fact, Olivia loved all the attention her sister gave her. Meghan was more than generous with the time she spent with her sister and brother.

When Meghan was a little girl, she was diagnosed with a heart problem. Dr. Goetz told her parents that there is a hole in her heart. However, Dr Goetz said that that hole is small and it would eventually close on its own. So Meghan can live a normal life but with restrictions – by making sure that she does not do anything too strenuous.

For several years later, the hole has not closed at all. Nevertheless, Dr Goetz always beamed when he saw Meghan because she proved him wrong: she wasn’t fragile and frail, and her heart seems very strong. As a child, Meghan would run up and down the street with her friends. Allison, Meghan’s mother, would watch through the window from inside.

I like Meghan, she is very strong. She taught me how to be stronger. She showed me how to become a good person. This book has something is very difficult to understand, however I tried to understand that and I will finish it soon. After I read this book, I admired Meghan. She is a patient but she is very strong.

The borrowers chapter two

The chapter is talk about the borrowers family. There are four family members in their fmily, that including father Pod , mother Homily,daugther Arrietty and son Eggletina. This family live under the ground. They always borrow things from the house they live. This chapter also talk about how they live. They always eat something that someone left and use manicure scissors to cut it. But they need to eat the food economical. It is because their father need to take a risk to borrow food. Pod always made button-boots out of kid gloves. Homily always knitted their jerseys. And Arrietty always read books and wrote her diary. Homily like to direct Arrietty do anything for her. Arrietty always lives in her imagine world. I think this chapter is interesting , because I never imagine the borrowers live . Even though we don't know they are exist, they still use their way to live.

"black beauty" by Anna Sewell,page 51~80

The book "black beauty", by Anna Sewell, from page 51 to 80, talks about something happened in the past about the horses in "Birtwick Park" where blackie's master lives in. First, the writer talks about how did Merrylegs give a lesson about when it is enough to ride on him to the children who wanted to ride some more. The next, all of the horses in "Birtwick Park" have a conversition when they ate in a orchard. They are talked about how cruel humans are for animals and there are also some good humans like their master. Finally, the author tells about a event that happened in a stormy day. The master gave a proper name "black beauty" for the horse, blackie. And then the master went out for a business trip with John who helps the master to look after his horses and black beauty. But the water broke the wooden bridge when them came back and black beauty stop to go any more in front of the bridge for save his master in the terrible stormy day. His master and John were truly thankful for black beauty.
In this party of the book, I'm very surprised about the spirits of the horses, they are the same as human, and they can feel the world as well as human, sometime they are feel better than human. They hate the horrible things what did it by human. They can show their love directly, especially, when the man who they loved is dangerous, they will rescue them with their lives. I feel sorry about human's barbarity for animal, I hope everyone can be kind for each animal with love.

Summary of book

This story about Major League Baseball Player Ichiro Suzuki’s real story and how Ichiro made success in MLB. The first chapter is story about why Ichiro changes to play in the U.S and life in the MLB. At the first I read first 10 pages it story was, Ichiro got MVP award in 2001 season. In 2001 season his team Seattle mariners made 116 wins and this is the record in MLB, every player did well on season so, Ichiro couldn’t believe this happened at that time when he heard about this information, he thought his team mate Bret Boon got this award, so he couldn’t believe it happens.

This book is really interesting for me. That’s because I love baseball and I really respect Ichiro, so I can easily to understand this story. Also, I can know more information about him. On this chapter, it was easy to understood for me because words are not so difficult story was interesting and I could get new information about him, so I like this chapter to read this story. I can not guess what happen next from this story, but it will be more exciting story at the next chapter I think.

Summary

This chapter is a kind of introduction about Michael Jordan. Michael is a member of the Chicago Bulls and a legend of the NBA, National Basketball Association. He got NBA champion rings 3 years in a row from 1991 to 1993. However, he suddenly expressed his retirement in October 1993 when he was thirty. There are 2 reasons: one of the reasons is he wanted to be a member of Chicago White Sox, a team of MLB, and another reason is his father died in July 1993. His father had wanted him be a baseball player until dead. After his death, Michael decided to be a member of major leaguer. Therefor, he became a major leaguer, but his hitting record was terrible. So, he came back to NBA two years later.

Michael Jordan is one of the stars I love. I have watched games in which Michael played since 1996. His play style is gorgeous and powerful. The movement made me his fan. This caused I chose this book for this assignment. This chapter covers what I do not know. So this book is very interesting for me, but in this book the author uses difficult vocabularyies. I will try to memorize new vocabularies from this book.

When she wakes, Jane notices she is lying on her bed, and she is taked care by doctor who is a family’s doctor. Jane remains in bed today, and Bessie sings her a song. Mr. Lloyd talks with Jane, and he suggests to Ms. Reed that the girl went to a school, where she might find happiness and pleasent. Jane is excited at that story what the doctor said.
Jane learns more of her history when she overhears a conversation between Bessie and Miss Abbott. Jane’s mother was a member of the wealthy Reed family. When they married, Jane’s wealthy grandfather wrote his daughter out of his will. After Jane was born, Jane’s parents died from typhus. About two months later, Jane knows that she will be sending a school for orphan.


I thought she is almost died and worried about her future. However, she endured everything and sent to the school for orphan. She was excited at that fact because she doesn't care her cousin and her family who insult her anymore. Also, she is so delightful that she can be learning what she wants long time ago. I wonder what is the next chapter's story and her future in new school. She might meet new friends and teachers, but she will be hard to study at there, for some reasons.

I think that her job is a matrimonial agency.
She has a boy friend (Diesel) and a dog (Bob).
Her eyes are blue and her heritage is Hungraian and Italian.
She works as a bond enforcement agent for my cousin Vinie.
Also, her roomate is a hamster named Rex.
Her and her boyfriend argue about Stephanie's customer and breakfast.
She went her customer to help getting marrige him with Lula and Bob.
However, she disappointed from her customer because she wanted to get true love.
Stephanie thought that it is impossible. Also she shouted "That's a bitch".
And Stephanie go to another customor. her name is Charlene Klinger. She is forty-two and

Girls in Pants _The Third Summer of the Sisterhood_ Ann Brashares (p.1 - p.5)

This book is the third book in a series of four books in a series of four books: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Second Summer of the Sisterhood, Girls in Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood and Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood. The series are talk about four girls who found the magic jeans that fit all four of them perfectly, even though they’re all different sizes. They are Tibby (the rebel), Carmen (the drama queen), Lena (the shy and beautiful), and Bridget (the soccer jock). They are best friends a long times. When they found the magic jeans, actually it has brought to them lots of lucky while they were wearing it. That’s why they really love these pants and they should have taken turns to keep these pants. Each book is talk about a summer and this book that I am reading is the third summer. This summer is the last summer before college and they are going to attend to four difference colleges in three difference cities. Maybe it will be difference with two last books.

In the first chapter, the teller’s name is Tibby. She told that this pants has a great power to change and make four normal teenager girls have pretty lives of amazing adventures. These pants help them feel loved and safety. Of course, it makes them better people and better friends. It is true.

The four girls became friends each other by chance. Their mom took the same a prenatal aerobics class eighteen years ago and then they each gave birth to a baby girl in September. Of course, each girl has difference character. In this chapter, Tibby used the metaphor of car to describe the four of them and I tried to understand and explain what she means. Carmen is easy to make a mess of things and get mad with anything is disordered but actually she’s a lot of fun. Lena is easygoing girl, she is easy on the environment but sometimes she does something wrong and she should have help. Bridget or Bee is strong girl and she can do everything really good. So what's about Tibby? What did she say about herself? She thought she likes a bike, maybe she means she is a normal girl and nothing special.

In September, they go to college. Bee goes to Brown- one of colleges that she applied, Lena goes to art school at the Rhode Island School of Design- that her parents advised, Carmen goes to Williams- her dream’s school and Tibby goes to film school at NYU. The day after tomorrow, they’ll never all live in the same place again and that is a big change in their life. That’s why they will launch the Pants on their third summer voyage in tomorrow night.

Why did I choose this book? Because I saw the movie found on the first book of this series and I'm interested about it. I know this summary is so long , I try to make it be shorter than this one. This book has a lot of new vocabulary and it isn't easy to understand because it is psychological. If I understand what it means, I might understand what they are feeling and thinking; and if I understand what they are feeling and thinking, I must understand what it means. It's so hard. But I like to discover human thinking and feeling. I won't give up. I'll make my next summary is easy to understand and everybody will be interested about this series.

Narnia-Prince Caspian(The return to Narnia)

The Island&The Anicent Treasure House

A long time ago, there was a family,Peter,Susan,Edmund and Lucy. They went through a wardrobe and then found a place called Narnia. After that they became Kings&Queens in Narnia. This time, the story started when they came back to normal life 1 year later. Peter,Susan,Edmund and Lucy was waiting a train in rail station. They finished their hoilday and prepare to came back their school. Suddenly,they saw a place(just they can see)and then they went in the other world. They went in a island. However,they didn't care where they were. Maybe they like adventure,they just around the island.Maybe few hours later,Lucy felt thirsty. So they acrossed beach and wood to found a stream to got some fresh water. After few hours,they found a place have some apple treesand surounding with some wall (so they ate apple-_-") Went though the apple trees they saw a courtyard. Then keep going in the courtyard they found that was a castle. They went thought the castle hall want to found a place to rest. And then they relized they may be in the Cain Paravel.(a place in Narnia) But every thing changed. Cain Paravel is in a island,The castle collapsed and covered with weeds. So they want to verify they were in Cain Paravel or not. So....they went to find the treasure chamber. And then they found it. they got in to the room and relized the place was over hundreds years. Susan found that she missed a horn. And then they fell asleep there...



In fact,I like adventure story so much. And I think I need to find a book is very easy(for kid) So this book is good for me to read because of the word is not so hard. I think the chapter 1 is a little bit boring. It just look like hatchet,they need to survival in a island and chapter 2 like hatchet too. They need to find some thing to eat, drink and sleep.But I know that just the beginning. And that I find courtyard and garden are different... Can someone tell me what is the difference?

The 7 HABITS of Highly Effective TEENS ( Pg 3~9)

This book written by Sean. First of all, this book talked about why the author wrote this book?

She said that also his father wrote kind of this book the book name is ' The 7 habits of Highly

Effective People ' it means author's father influenced to the author. Also, she said that life for

teens is no longer a playground. It's a jungle out there. I think it means that teens is very

important part of our life. Page 3~9 said that some people wanted to know about their problems

such as diet, domestick problems, their goal. Then, she adviced to them. 1. Be proactive 2.begin

with the End in Mind 3. Put First Things First 4.Think Win-Win 5.Seek First to Understand,

Then to be Understood 6.Synergize 7.Sharpen the Saw. Habit 1 means that take responsibility

for your life. Habit 2 means Define your mission and goals in life. Habit 3 means Prioritize, and

do the most important things first. Habit 4 means Have and everyone-can-win attitude. Habit 5

means Listen to people sincerely. Habit 6 means Work together to achieve more. Habit 7 means

Renwe yourself regularly. I think these thing are very important for our life. Also, i have many

problems in my life. Now, i want to solve that problems. After i read pg 3~9 , i thought that this

book will give very good advice to me. Even though i couldn't read many pages this week, i will

read many pages next week. Because i realized that i will be better after i read this book.

The borrowers chapter 1 pg 3~12

The book "The borrowers" by Mary Norton talk about the borrowers really existed. Have you ever lost something like needle , hairpins and pencils? But you can clearly remember where are you put these thing.That's means there are some borrowers live in your house. The borrowers are people who borrow your things without asking. They may live under the ground or live in the loft.They don't want to be noticed. So in this chapter, everyone wonder about if they are really existed. The Mrs. May told a story about the borrowers to Kelly.The story is aout her brother noticed that there are some borrowers live in their house . So they sometimes found their things were suddenly disapper. And for the borrowers, they think they are the people who own the world. These adults are their slaves.

The christmas blessing by Donna Vanliere p. 1-27

The book "The Christmas Blessing" by Donna Vanliere talk about Nathan Andrews. He is a third-year medical rotations. His university sent him to a best hospital for cardiology. Next four weeks he has to work with Dr. Goetz, he is the chief of cardiology. The reason Nathan wanted to become a doctor because his mother. She left him when he was 10years old. She got sick for a long time. Before she died she taught him how to go up easily to the mountain. His family respected him would become a good physician event his mother. But he didn't do that, he couldn't forget his mother death. So he tried to become a good doctor to help everybody. He and three more people became a team with a leader is Dr. Goetz. The first week, he met Helen, she is a patient of cervical disc problem. He really wanted to help Helen, but her sick was much sicker than he knew. Then she died after couple days. Nathan was upset, he remember his mother death. During two weeks rotation in hospital, he met another emergency. The guy he got a car accident. After 27 minutes into the surgery, the guy died. And that was the first death he encountered. Few days later, he met Charlie, he was a younger heart patient in that hospital. When he was born, only one ventricle of his heart worked. He had three surgeries during the first three years of his life. Nathan thought he had to become a good doctor of cardiology. He would help many people in the world.
Actually my book talk to much about cardiology, they have many new words. However, beside the patient, the author told me the emotion of a medical student. Some time it was boring, but I tried to read it and understand it.

black beauty by Anna Sewell. Pages 1-50

The book "black beauty" by Anna Sewell is talk about a horse's life. First, the writer discribe how happy the horse is when the horse was young, and how their master looked after them gently and carefully. Then before the horse was four years old, it became more and more handsome and special, the master didn't want to sell it at that time, because he knew that boys should not work like men and colts should not work like full-grown horses. When the horse was four years old and became a full-grown horse, the master decided to sell it. After the man named Squire Gordon came and look at the horse, the man wanted to buy the horse if it have a good breaking in. The master didn't want somebody injured it, so he would break it in himself. The breaking in was very terrible and hard for the horse, but its master always help it with a gently language, it also love its master, so it didn't give up, and it became more profession with it. When the breaking in finish, the master sold it for Squire Gordon and said goodbye to the horse. "good-bye, blackie."

I'm very happy for reading this book, it's very good. there isn't too many vocabulary that I don't know, and the story is very special, because the author through the horse spirit to reflect human's cruel and kind. And through the events happened around the horse to reflect the world in different parts. And I think the writer will talk about how it will be like the horse new house is and what troubles will happen in its new life and how does it deal with.
