The borrowers P71-P113

Arrietty went to borrow with her father . After a while, a boy seen her. The boy who had seen

her father last time. First time, Arrietty had a little scare. But she found that boy didn't want to

hurt her. Then, she started to talk with the boy. She told the boy everything about her, which

are included her family, her life and her habit. The boy was so surprised that Arrietty can read.

Arrietty thought that human should borrow things to them. Because they are just borrow, not

steal. The boy said to Arrietty that he didn't believe that there are another borrowers , and

Arrietty might be the last borrower. Arrietty said to him that she also has another family

members, and they are still alive. But the boy said that Arrietty's uncle's family might be die.

Arrietty was so sad about what he said. So the boy decided to help her to find her uncle.

The boy said that he can help Arrietty to send the mail to her uncle.Arrietty was so excited

about it. She never told her father that she had been seen and talked to the boy.After that ,

Arrietty wrote a letter for her uncle.She wanted to meet the boy and asked the boy to help

her send the mail. She just putted the mail under the carpet, and let the boy found it. After

few day, she went to the boy's room and asked him about the letter.The boy said that he already

send it to her uncle, and her uncle wrote something on the letter. Her uncle wrote"tell your aunt

come home." But Arrietty said that her aunt wasn't at their home.


I think Arrietty is a curious girl. She always want to know what the humans world look like.

So she tell the boy everything about her. Maybe in the book the boy is good. But I think in

the real world, we shouldn't trust anyone so easily. I am not talking about everyone are bad

guys. Just sometimes we need to protect ourselves. Except this, i think Arrietty is a stubborn

girl. If she want to believe something, she will always believe it. I think this is a good thing.

Sometimes we think something is impossible, so we just give up. I used to saw a movie, the

movie said"everything is possible if you just believe." I absolutely believe it. You can't get

anything because you don't even want to try.
